Acute red eyesight in a diesel fitter This article outlines a systematic approach to ocular trauma in the principal care setting. Case presentation Jeff, a 19-year-aged apprentice diesel fitter, offered a red left eye and associated foreign body sensation that had begun instantly when he was grinding metal two days previously generic drugs . Despite workplace policy, he had not been wearing eye protection. The attention was mildly photophobic and quite uncomfortable, particularly on blinking. Any reduction was denied by him in vision but conceded that he had been experiencing haloes around lighting at night. He previously no general medical conditions or past ocular history of note, and he didn’t wear spectacles or contacts.
